Cellar Door Dinner Series #8 x Ant North – 2021 Vintage Celebration
$165.00 inc. GST
It is that time of the year again as we settle in by the fireplace and kick-off our Cellar Door Dinner Series for the 2026 Winter season – 5 x wines from the outstanding 2021 vintage alongside a flavor packed Japanese themed menu by renowned Chef Ant North with wines guided by our winemaker Paul Mason.
The 2021 vintage in Martinborough was an exceptional “winemakers vintage” , showcasing high-quality, depth, defined by low yields, producing concentrated expressions across all varietals, with vibrant acidity, structural tension, and intense fruit, often compared to the stellar 2020 vintage. One of the drier winters on record leading into spring led to water stress for vines, forcing them to work hard, resulting in a very early harvest. The crop was significantly smaller than average, causing high demand and scarcity for the 2021 vintage. These wines are generally considered, based on 2023 reports, to be at their best now, with top bottles maturing well until 2030.
This will also be an exclusive & rare opportunity to purchase some of these wines from our museum stock. Don’t miss out!
